Photography at Night

You've seen it. Now learn how to do it. Photographing the city lights after dark is an incredible experience. We'll use the buildings and streets near class to learn how to capture different indoor and outdoor lighting situations, how to get a correct exposure, and how your camera works under low light situations. A tripod is a must for this class. Also bring camera manual, extra battery, wide angle lens in the 10mm, 18mm, or 24mm range, flash, small flashlight, memory cards, small camera bag and comfortable walking shoes.

Processing in Photoshop or Lightroom

Designed for students who have attended my Photoshop for Photographers class or watched my video tutorials on YouTube and are ready for more. This class is more in-depth than W0968 and assumes a basic understanding of Photoshop CC or Lightroom. We'll concentrate on the tabs in Photoshop CC Adobe Camera Raw and the Develop module in Lightroom. Both process images in much the same way. Hummingbird Photography

Photograph ruby-throated hummingbirds in a garden setting. There should be 30-50 hummingbirds in the garden if conditions are right. Participants will receive instruction on hummingbird photography and hummingbird behavior. Stop-action photo studio will be available for use based on the number of people in the class and shooting conditions.

Take what we learned in Basic Photography: One Day Workshop and build on it. This class will concentrate on pet photography, family photography, low-light photography, and travel photography to teach more intermediate level photography skills.

Students should have completed Basic Photography: One Day Workshop or have a basic understanding of their camera's manual mode functions such as f/stop, shutter speed, and ISO.
